Sochi’s Cultural Olympiad
In coordination with the London 2012 Olympic Games, Sochi hosted a “Marathon of Russian Regions” to highlight the cultural diversity of Russia. The Marathon of Russian Regions is part of a large-scale programme known as the Cultural Olympiad, which was launched in 2010 and will continue each year until the opening of the Sochi Olympics.
